Research Protocol Guide
The Peptide Research Foundation
A comprehensive framework for structured peptide research — from baseline diagnostics through a 12-week protocol build, with proper storage, reconstitution, and monitoring guidelines.
The Master Stack Framework
Bachmeyer & EliteBiogenix Research Context
A significant portion of this research and the “Master Stack” framework is centered on the protocols and physiological philosophy of Dr. Trevor Bachmeyer and the EliteBiogenix ecosystem. This approach prioritizes investigating Upstream drivers rather than isolated Downstream observations like metabolic changes or inflammatory markers.
By layering peptides in a specific sequence — Mitochondria → Energy → Metabolic → Repair — the goal is to build a permanent physiological foundation that allows the body to maintain elite performance and a healthy baseline indefinitely.
The 9 Root Pillars
Upstream vs Downstream: Instead of studying isolated markers (downstream), this research approach investigates root physiological systems (upstream). Support for the mitochondria, and studies of energy, metabolism, and tissue remodeling pathways follow naturally.
Peptide Stability & Storage
Cold Chain Management Standards
Proper Cold Chain management is critical for maintaining peptide bio-activity. Peer-reviewed stability studies on lyophilized (unconstituted) peptides confirm varying stability windows depending on storage temperature.
Room Temp
Stable for weeks
(Lyophilized only)
4°C / Fridge
Stable for months
(Lyophilized only)
-20°C / Freezer
Stable for years
(Lyophilized only)
The 28-Day Rule
Once a peptide is reconstituted with Bacteriostatic water, it begins a 28–42 day degradation countdown. To ensure maximum potency and safety, any reconstituted vial should be discarded or replaced after 28 days to avoid the risk of meaningful degradation or reduced effectiveness.
Diagnostic Baseline
Phase 0 — Document before starting to prove results
Before beginning any research protocol, establish a comprehensive baseline. This creates the “before” snapshot that demonstrates measurable outcomes over time.
Subjective
- ▸Sleep quality rating (1-10)
- ▸Morning brain fog level
- ▸Recovery time after intense physical activity (e.g. gym session, long run, or competitive sports)
Objective
- ▸Current weight
- ▸Body fat percentage
- ▸Resting heart rate (important for Retatrutide research)
- ▸"Peak Flow" meter readings (for respiratory research)
Lab Work
- ▸Thyroid panel (TSH, T4)
- ▸Inflammation markers (hs-CRP)
- ▸Metabolic health (A1c, Fasting Insulin)
The 12-Week Build
Conservative micro-dosing with staggered starts to isolate individual reactions
This protocol layers peptides in a deliberate sequence — starting with mitochondrial support and building outward through energy, metabolic, and repair systems. After Week 12, transition to a maintenance phase.

Use a puncture-proof Sharps container for all used needle disposal. Never discard syringes in regular waste.
Travel Kit
Use an peptide travel cooler if away from home for more than 24 hours to maintain the 28-day stability window.
Syringes
- ▸3.0 ml / 23G — Reconstitution (mixing) ONLY
- ▸1.0 ml / 31G / 5/16" — Daily subcutaneous administration
Reconstitution & Stability
Proper mixing protocol and concentration formulas
The 28-Day Rule
Once mixed with Bacteriostatic water, the peptide begins a 28–42 day degradation countdown. Finish the vial within 28 days for peak potency.
The Mix
Wipe tops of both vials with alcohol prep pads.
Inject 2 ml of air into the water vial, then draw 2 ml of Bacteriostatic water.
Inject water into the peptide vial slowly — aim down the side of the glass, not directly onto the powder.
Do not shake — swirl gently until fully dissolved.
Supply Rule
Use 1.0 ml / 31G research syringes for administration. Use 3.0 ml / 23G syringes ONLY for mixing water into the vial.
Concentration Formula
If you add 2 ml of Bacteriostatic water to a 10 mg vial, the concentration is 5 mg per ml. From there, every 10 units on the syringe equals 1 mg.
| Syringe Units | Volume | Peptide Delivered |
|---|---|---|
| 5 units | 0.05 ml | 0.25 mg |
| 10 units | 0.10 ml | 0.5 mg |
| 20 units | 0.20 ml | 1 mg |
| 30 units | 0.30 ml | 1.5 mg |
| 50 units | 0.50 ml | 2.5 mg |
Based on 10 mg vial + 2 ml Bac Water = 5 mg/ml concentration. Adjust if your vial size or water volume differs.
Blood Test Monitoring
Scheduled lab panels to track protocol effectiveness
Required Panel
Baseline
Before starting the protocol. Establishes your “before” reference point for all markers.
Metabolic Pivot — ~6 Weeks In
Mid-protocol check. Assess thyroid response and confirm no over-medication interactions. Key checkpoint for metabolic adjustment.
Foundation Check — ~14 Weeks In
Post-protocol assessment. Confirm inflammation markers have dropped, respiratory improvements, and overall metabolic health progress.

Summer Research Protocol
Body composition, skin quality & metabolic research protocol
A research protocol for investigating body composition, skin quality, and metabolic pathways. This combination of four complementary peptides — each addressing a different pillar of metabolic and tissue research — all start together on Week 1.
GHK-Cu (50mg)
Copper-binding tripeptide studied for skin and tissue quality. Researched for effects on collagen remodeling, skin elasticity, and connective tissue pathways in laboratory settings.
1–2mg per day · Every day · Starting Week 1
Add to Cart →CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin
Synergistic GH secretagogue blend for growth hormone signaling research. CJC-1295 (10mg) stimulates GH synthesis while Ipamorelin (10mg) activates the ghrelin pathway — studied together for effects on body composition and metabolic markers.
Starting Week 1
IGF-1 LR3
Long-acting insulin-like growth factor for downstream growth signaling research. Studied synergistically with GH peptides for effects on tissue preservation and adaptation in research models.
Starting Week 1
Add to Cart →Retatrutide (20mg)
Triple agonist (GLP-1/GIP/Glucagon) researched for metabolic signaling pathways. The metabolic backbone of this protocol — investigated for effects on body composition through energy-balance pathways while the other peptides address tissue quality research.
Starting Week 1
Add to Cart →| Peptide | Vial Size | Dose | Frequency | Start |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GHK-Cu | 50mg | 1–2mg/day | Every day | Week 1 |
| CJC-1295 | 10mg | Per protocol | Per protocol | Week 1 |
| Ipamorelin | 10mg | Per protocol | Per protocol | Week 1 |
| Retatrutide | 20mg | Per protocol | Per protocol | Week 1 |
Why all four together from Week 1: Unlike the 12-Week Build which staggers peptides to isolate reactions, the Summer Protocol is designed for researchers already familiar with individual compounds. Running all four simultaneously maximizes synergy between skin quality (GHK-Cu), GH signaling (CJC-1295/Ipamorelin), downstream growth (IGF-1 LR3), and metabolic regulation (Retatrutide).
